Ricky Leutele must be the best player to ever play in the Championship, incredible they’ve managed to get an NRL star when Super League clubs are struggling to sign them.'"
edit stick to the topic and stop throwing catnip to the pussycats wh seem unable to stop letting you tickle their tummy such as.vastman, Printer and Kennedy.

For all of the hype, Whitley isn't that great.'"
widnes in the main rave over whitley, cos he's one of them 'give it all he's got' types. Which is commendable, but limited. baz n tez on sky wax lyrical about him during every widnes live game.
i went to a video session at warrington last year, it showed some of the tactics we were using in the upcoming widnes game , video was of the previous widnes games we'd played, and basically it was about 10 minutes of us targeting matt whitley, as he's not a big forward, ball carriers dominating him and getting quick ptb's and just making ridiculous yardage down his channel.
Although to be fair this was him having to cover for chris bridge who was as being as lazy as always alongside him.

His size really affects him in my opinion, we'd sometimes be playing him and Sam wilde Second Row who's even smaller than Whitley.
He'll do a job but for the money he's on, no great loss.

| It's as close to being certain that these are Wakefields main signings for 2019
Ben Reynolds from Leigh (Half Back)
Craig Kopczak from Salford (Prop)
George King from Warrington (Utility forward)
No serious losses as far a I can tell.
I'm sure I'll be told how useless they all are from the normal suspect/suspects but they all look handy additions to an already very decent squad to me.

Well none are worlds beaters that is for sure, but all solid squad players, Reynolds still fairly young and probably can kick on after being a regular at championship level. King is kind of meeh, Kopczak again solid enough player.

There has been some debate regarding that as he seems to be placed in various positions depending where you read - so prop it is.

Agree they're not but for us, it's more about keeping the quality we have, which we've done and adding more quality to the depth of the squad, which signings like this will do.

Chris Chester will get the best out of them regardless of who they sign!

| We’ve a strong second row but I do see King as a SR rather than prop, might be useful late on if he has a bit of pace to inject into the game late on?

| Reynolds would be a shrewd signing for any SL team IMO
