its probably more down to the fact that it was a different game and one where no one got sin binned for foul play and causing a fight. FWIW I personally don't think the OP is a fair one and over the top, I don't think Wigan are particularly anymore a dirty side than the rest, although there were a couple of incidents in this game where I thought they were a touch shall we say 'grubby' and thats what Im trying to discuss.

| Total number of players charged after Saturday's game - zero.
18 pages of embarrassing, bitter drivel.

The only incident I would have liked to have seen dealt with is the dangerous throw, that is not needed in the game.

Judging by the FC fans opinions on Crookes, they are hoping he will cop a long ban.

| I think the Crosby throw had the potential to be the most dangerous incident in the game, however the player lands on his back, I didnt see any malicious intent and there were other players involved with the tackle, possibly making it worse than if it had just been Crosby.
On that side of things, I think a penalty was a fair shout.

[quote="Headingley Rhino"]Great win yesterday at our place, there is no denying you are probably the best team in SL as you have proved it all year so I think it's justice done that you have got to Old Trafford. I thought wigan was excellent in the second half and showed why you guys are top dogs this year.: |

| Biff dealt with correctly. Crosby's tackle, whatever the intention, should have been a ban. Needs to be a clear red light against lifting the legs and tipping post-McKinnon.

| Leeds fan reacting differently due to a lost compared to a win, Wigan fans wouldn't do such a thing!
P.S. Does anybody remember the 2010 playoffs when Leeds won at the DW and Leeds were filth and McGuire deserved death? Then remember when Wigan won the return 2 weeks later and they were just celebrating a great performance and a return to Old Trafford.
Something about pots and kettles springs to mind.

| How can there be no charges? From reading this thread, Michael McIllorum is lucky not to be charged with attempted murder according to some fans on here.

Agreed. The fact that Hall landed on his back is irrelevant IMO, there is absolutely no need at all for Crosby to deliberately tip a player who is already in the process of being tackled it needs stamping out of the game no after what club is involved.
Anyway I do hope now the Wigan fans seem to have a new found faith in the disciplinary panel, that they will accept their judgement as correct for the rest of the season

The only thing MM should be charged with is stupidity, the yellow for the high shot was clearly sufficient.

I think you should let your guide dog write your next contribution, Peacock didn't take a backward step all game and was itching to be first carrier in after the 'bother'.

Funny you should say that since I actually posted on the Wigan forum two weeks ago about the dirty & overly niggly play from Wigan at Headingley that night. You won't find the post though since it was removed by the trigger happy monkeys that moderate the Wigan board.
You will find a thread full of similar thoughts on the Leeds board though.
