So criticised if they haven't said something and criticised if they have?
Give it a rest.
It's staying at 14 clubs. The RFL have made it clear enough and given no reason (other than not constantly repeating themselves) to suggest otherwise.

Do any of James Webster, Jon Goddard & Makali Aizue play for Hull KR now? If you would like to name the players (bar the 4 named) who played regularly at HKR in 2007 and still play for them now then maybe you could argue the statement Quote: Kingmaker "
In fact only Murrell, Fisher, and Cockayne featured with any regularity and are still there now.'" if not, i can only assume you have made the same mistake as the others, which in your case is worse as it has been explained numerous times and pointed out numerous times since, that the statement Quote: Kingmaker "
In fact only Murrell, Fisher, and Cockayne featured with any regularity and are still there now.'" doesnt mean only Murrell, Fisher, and Cockayne (and Netherton) played for Hull KR in 2006 and 2007. I honestly cant believe so many people got confused by it.

The clubs voted for the amount of clubs to be kept the same. The RFL didnt decide it.
He probably hasnt 'bought into everything' they have told him, just read and understood it. Unlike others.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| Back to the Op , but with a different slant on it , having an odd number of teams in a competition as we do in the Championship is also problematic , Leigh this season have only dropped points on two occaisions , both times when playing on a short turnaround against opposition that had had an extra weeks rest , do they have this problem in Australia ? , with clubs losing games having been affected by the ' Bye ' week ?

The RFL has not categorically stated anything. There is absolutely nothing in any of the documentation surrounding the licensing process that states Super league will remain at 14 clubs.

Leigh have possibly been a little unfortunate in this regard, especially with the weeks happening thus far however many coaches argue that the week off is a negative influence. I suppose it depends, if you're carrying a couple of knocks a week off does you the world of good.
Swings and roundabouts im guessing. But no, the 4 day? turnaround probably didnt help

In the Championship this is compounded with the thursday TV games as well , especially with PT players , John Duffy could hardly walk on Monday as he was injured last Sunday leaving the pitch and not returning , but put his hand up to play last night
We hear about SL clubs coaches complaining about the easter matches , quite often a Championship club will play friday/monday/thursday over easter to satisfy SKY , without recieving any monetary compensation

Here here. Hopefully some day the Championhip will get a TV deal in it's own right. I've always though Sunday evening is a great time. Could throw in highlights into that as well. Sure they did that in the past when I was a wee nipper

Other than on their website under licensing, frequently asked questions where they say Quote: Hartster "At this stage the Super League will remain at 14 clubs in 2012.'"

You're so right. I mean, as an example, in the coming few days, a team of leading English and Exiles SL players will be released by their clubs to go hammer and tongs at each other in the interests of the wider picture and the national team.
Oh, hang on . . ..

| Quote: Odemwingie "1 and 2 are within the same answer. I put Bradford in at the end and forgot to change the 9 to 10. People often talk about Bradfords stadium like it is as bad as Cas and Wakey but it isn't. It has a whole end of the ground which is brand new and dedicated to hospitality. It has almost 6k seats which is more than a lot of other stadiums, The terracing is not crumbling away like most old grounds and it is a high capacity for the big games.
The 3rd one was controversial but you only have to look at the crowds last time they were in super league to notice they will do better than most current super league teams. The local derbies agains Wigan, Saints and especially Warrington will be pulling 9-10k maybe even sell-outs. Their away support has also always been superb from what I have seen. I bet they will be the best supported team at MM, yes because its their first game but it shows the fans are willing to travel.
As for being competitive, the chairman has already said they will be spending to the full cap. This will automatically make them a top 8 team as there is only around 6 or 7 teams who actually spend the full cap.'"
Odsal is ok when its not raining. When it is the away fans are obliged to stand in the wind and rain and get soaked, in the same way they are at Wakey. At least at Cas you can get under cover unless the game is near capacity.
2nd point - absolute rubbish! Cas spend nowhere near the salary cap and are doing better than 3 teams spending up to the cap or certainly a lot more. Spending is no guarantee of success.

The clue to it not being a categorical statement, or absolutely fixed, regarding the licence grants for 2012 onwards lies in just three words of what you quoted.

| It's about time the RFL started to scribe their plans in the flesh. Then there would be no doubt. You could fit the rudiments of franchising on Nigel Wood's stomach using a scalpel and some indian ink.
