Ive warmed to Noble, and I never thought I would say that. Voss is a breath of fresh air. Woods is also good. I don't necessarily have a problem with Eddie and Stevo.....or at least I didn't, until this World Cup.

Had to laugh at Nobby calling Drury Low "Drury Lane" the other night though!

I'd love to see Vossy & Carney replace the two muppets on Sky .

Vossy is also very commendable about the game in the UK in general. Hunslet Hawks it was tonight and Workington last week.

Its great to know that he openly makes the viewer aware of the lower teams playing in the championship.

He is very good indeed as he certainly fills the gaps !

I just think Premier's work on the event has been first class from start to date and no doubt to the finish. Voss and Nobby are one jewel in a well encrusted crown. How embarrassing for all the naysayers who were bagging Premier before the event. The whole event has been superb, and everyone has taken it to their hearts, but Voss and Nobby have indeed been outstanding.

Those who bagged premiere did so regarding their reach,.......so do you expect them to feature in barb figures or are they still a tiny little station with 6500 or so subscribers?
Free access on the virgin platform is great, but in reality it will make little difference to the viewing figures for non fta games

Its the equivalent of fanzone that Sky ran on footballs Super Sunday where 2 drunks of the street commentated the game.

We really are a small time sport if we think two blokes making 'ditties' about nothing throughout the game is the answer.

Could you ever imagine it in Soccer or RU or any other sport come to think of it.

So we should be a clone of RU - the presentation is as bad Eddie and Stevo - dull. What Voss gets across is the fact that sport is entertainment not life and death, such a refreshing change. Have you ever heard any commentary from Roy and HG?

Im not saying we should be a clone of RU. What Im saying is that there is a standard for sport commentary which these 2 dont reach.

We cant go back to the Eddie Waring days as we are trying to reach out to all corners of UK. Who cares about chips in Hull!!

What is this standard then? And who reaches it?...

Premiers coverage of the Championships has been pretty rubbish really, so it wasnt surprising many were worried about the WC, however they have done a decent job, hopefully as a result of this coverage we will see Virgin take up premier and potentially an actual paying deal for the lower tiers be put on the table

What i like about the coverage is that it doesn't accentuate the negative points during a game. On Sky's coverage whenever a try is scored they always repeat any errors leading up to a try and ignore the skill involved in scoring.

There were a number of incidents in last night's game where on Sky they would have been endless repeating themselves trying to make a point, Premier's commentators get on with the job and make it pleasing to listen too.

I now look forward to the commentary rather than reach for the mute button.
