You're right about the one game at a time but, that doesn't stop confidence being affected when things go well or, when things start to go wrong.
With Leigh, it's all about making a decent start and if they manage that (with a tough early fixture list) they could push for the top 8.
However, if they lose a few and struggle to register an early "W", pressure will build and as we saw with Leeds and Huddersfield last season, it's incredibly difficult to regain form when the losses start adding up.
Having had an excellent few seasons (apart from the play off's first time around) everyone will be taking an interest in the new boys.

Indeed, or we could do a Catalans 2016, have a great start to the season, then fade abysmaly ! Roll on 2017 anyway.....

On basis on Warrington and Leeds departures, i'd drop them both down a place.

SL in 2018 will be the same teams as 2017 barring an almighty collapse in finances etc from an SL team. For 2017 I can't see past Wigan for champions and either Hull, Warrington, Saints & Leeds for the cup.

Add Cas to that, and you're not for off the top 6 anyway. That's not difficult to predict really,is it?

If that's too easy for you, try predicting the top 6 in The Premiership. That should keep you busy for a while.

Wakefield sign Huby from Hudds. I'm not surprised many are picking Wakey to finish bottom as it seems to ne the default setting for the lazy or moronic on here. However Wakefieds pack is shaping up to be one of the biggest and aggressive in SL espeicially if Allgood does sign as constant rumours suggest. Added to that probably one of the best signing from he NRL in Scrum Half Sam Williams has gone virtually unnoticed which tbh honest I'm fine with - should have a field day behind that pack.

Certainly Vasty - probably the biggest front row in SL (although you have missed including the hookers in there).

I would expect Fifita and England to start with Huby and Hirst on the bench.

Not forgotten, who could forget Scott Moore, that's a wait and see.
