Child binned our player last week after a team warning after 3 back to back pens, yet last night despite a barrage of pens and backchat he failed to take action. That level of penalties in a game seem to only happen in games child refs, is he working to a different rule book to the rest??

Some more baffling and inconsistent decisions in the hull derby as well.
Michaels' second try is a clear strip of the ball, is it not? So how is that play on? Cummings had it right and said he would not have awarded the try.
And then Abdull's run later in the second half involved him running behind some FC players stood in the Rovers defensive line - but completely ignored and FC get a scrum feed? What?

As a Hull fan I was very surprised that we got the call with those two incidents. The strip, obviously they've ruled he was just trying to complete the tackle but even if I put put my best black and white specs on I struggle to see it that way.

The obstruction was 50/50. It was very similar to the Leeds one last week and for that reason I was surprised that they were happy with it. The scrum feed was because the pass was touched by Kelly.

Most of the on field decisions were pretty much on the money I thought, and Silverwood kept the game flowing well.

I honestly thought that whilst Michaels hand touched the ball it wasn't a strip and Sio lost control. as the ref has given it there isn't enough clear evidence to overturn it.
