I suspect that TO will give Rochdale a good hiding tomorrow. Fax beat them last weekend despite playing dismally - our ball retention in particular was awful. Whatever the score, I wouldn't take the game tomorrow as an indication of how well TO will fare come the end of the season.
Fax have some serious team dynamics to resolve (between experienced but ageing pro's, up and coming reserves, and a smattering of loan & DR players) but the clash with TO on 23rd March could be a better measure of how both teams are shaping up.

That's exactly how it will be Sparky, you can only play what's in front of you but the performance against Swinton was pretty poor as was the first half against Sheffield. Ford is very much an on-field motivator, more than any other player so I expect better discipline against Hornets. If TO get off to a quick start this could be a cricket score but if Kilshaw tries to slow the game down as in previous metings it could be a lot closer. |

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
