I agree, but even my team Leigh (whipping boys) had games v Warrington, Hull & Castleford called off by our opponents.

This needs to be done.
The amount of games getting called off was ridiculous.
Other team sports never seemed to have so much disruption.
It should have been from the start anyone testing negative was fit to play

Retired NRL player Cameron Smith commenting on the only 15 players still to be vaccinated in the NRL. 'Get jabbed or get another job'. Fair view IMHO and one the SL/RFL should follow.

Being double jabbed doesn’t stop you getting Covid, therefore why not just have players having a test, negative you play positive you don’t play, keeps everyone happy. |

I did say "and a negative test" but yes you're right. That is exactly how it should be. |

Player X tests positive - Player X isolates for 10 days.
Any players/staff in contact don’t isolate if they have been double jabbed & do if they haven’t.
Agree with it or not that is the current government stance. It should lead to far fewer players isolating therefore a significant reduction in games that have to be postponed.

The point is, being double jabbed, does not stop you from getting Covid, therefore a double jabbed player could pass on Covid, so just test the players. Positive test then isolate, negative then play. |
