Its been bizarre this season.

Up and down and when we have been up it has been majestic. When we have been down it has been terrible.

For me the defeat at Magic was a turning point. We never got anywhere near to the heights after that.

Some of the bigger players haven't performed.

As for the question on the defence. Well we started poorly , got a bit better but have struggled to keep opponents out later on. Individual errors and poor decisions costing penalties (Eloi at Wire) have been killers.

I certainly don't subscribe that we strive to be mediocre. I think Bernard wants a trophy.

There have been times this season we have looked on track for that, but as we get to the business end we look a long way short.

Looked the real deal first half of season big pack good half's and speed and power in backs.Think the french players have stood up well but injuries and attitude added up to season fizzling out.can see them going down by 30 plus tonight. Hope to be proved wrong

For quite a few seasons they always seem to run out of steam towards the business end, the sky team are always sympathetic to Catalans on the injury front by mentioning it every 5 mins in commentary. Old man Pritchard made a right HaHa out of YaHa taking him on the outside to score.

Totally agree. Catalans have a reputation for having a big pack. There is a difference between "big" and "overweight". Hull have a big pack, Catalans have an overweight pack and Yaha is another who carries far too much weight. Poorly coached as well. The decision to take the winger off when the game was dead has probably set his development back 6 months.
