On a plus side how good is it to see specialist centres and wingers playing in position? And as athletic and as dangerous as we've had for a while.

Ablett has more than enough quality for this team, don't worry.

Ablett is vastly underated by non Leeds fans.He always seems to be one of the stand out players in big games for us and steps up to the plate.I wouldnt have picked him in the starting 13 should everyone have been available, but am sure he will more than hold his own given the chance now.

Classic bench structure anyway:
Two props to give a four player rotation.
A versatile back row to split the minutes between the three/four players in that role. Someone who can also play centre if an injury to a back forces it.
A halfback who can come on to enable a change in the style of halfbacks, or put some zip and energy into the acting half role.

Goulding should be playing alongside Charnley, they have a fantastic partnership, another laughable decision by Englands coach not to pick him in the squad.

As much as I believe they should be punished for discipline issues, is this the correct way to go about it? We need James Graham in our pack. Barring that, I'm over the moon there's no Rangi Chase. Gareth Widdop can finally start and show what he can do.

There are some givens in this squad
1,2, 5 and 9 are guarenteed places
All the props have to play, and I wouldn't have both Burgess twins on the bench together so one has to start.
Sinfield has to play
Sam Burgess has to play
Westwood should start

So that leaves a choice of Watkins, Cudjoe or Ablett in the centre
and Ferris, Farrell and Ablett for the SR
With a choice of Sinfield, Chase and Widdop for 6 and 7 depending on whether Sinfield is 13

With limited pack now, I would go with Sinfield at 13
Start Widdup with Chase and have Burrow on the bench

So we put ourselves even more on the back-foot for winning the competition by not playing our best players?
