| Ref has seen the players square up and warned them to cut it out. A player then throws about 6 punches and the ref is wrong to send him off???

Indeed, enjoying it. Shame Cudjoe doesn't have that extra bit of pace, giving a really good account of himself today!

ok so what was the difference with Danny Mcguire? he threw 1 elbow, upper cut followed by another 2 upper cuts.

Not at all, just inconsistent.

| Is it any wonder fans have/are falling out of love with game? The same old teams getting the same big decisions. The sport is a joke.

The Giants player went into McGuire's head with his knee. That was the major difference.
McGuire got his handed to him in the melee after.
It was difficult to see what sparked the Giants player's anger for the red card. But they were squared up when the referee called them to call them down. He then made a clear decision to just start punching without any reply from Leeds.

Carl ablett constantly pushing out at the tacklers and giving a gob full is what sparked joe wardel off, if he doesn't like being tackled and likes to play hand bags football might be more to he's liking. I don't believe little scraps should be sending off's but if your going to send people off you have to do it consistently.

| There is a world of difference between the two incidents your anti Leeds bias is getting in the way.
The McGuire incident involved a knee to the head, McGuire reacted, cudjoe reacted penalty could have gone either way.
The Albert incident was a bit of hanbags at 5 paces ref shouts to them to walk away, wardall throws clear punches to the head, I'm not sure the ref had a choice to be honest

Are you deliberately trying to get on RLmeltdown?
What big decisions? Wardal was an idiot not the ref

McGuire was involved in a little scrap. Both players were throwing punches. McGuire clearly came out second best.
Wardell wasn't involved in a little scrap. He decided to throw 5 punches without reply after being told by the ref to calm down.

so what your saying is Mcguire lashed out with an elbow and punches to something accidental and still got the penalty with no card being shown to him? for the 2nd week on the trot as well. Im not saying under the current rules Wardel shouldn't have been sent off, but so should Mcguire if your going to red card players for punching.

| How do you know it was accudental knee to the head, or more to the point how did McGuire know he lashed out and there was a scuffle, maybe a sin bin for both players at worst. The wardal incident was totally different.

| Red button - Looks like Wardle responded to a couple of knees to the head too.
Thoughts on that now? FWIW I though McGuire earned himself a yellow and Wardle a red
