There most certainly should be some special rounds for marketing the game. SL has just been going through the motions since licensing began.

No doubt you'll get people moan that they can't afford all of the shirts, despite the fact that no one is bloody forcing them to buy them!

York are actually having a heritage game this season, with a special kit to go with it too.

As pointed out, Wigan have done this for a couple of years. It would be an excellent idea for it to become a full round, retro kits, former players on the pitch from big match between two teams from the past.

Cant see the harm in giving it a go if all the team fully commit to it. Why not try and improve the atmosphere and attendance at a run of the mill game.

Also, we owe our former players more acknowledgement that we currently give them.
