| Since they took the biff out of the game most derbies are insipid affairs.

The game this time last year was one of the worst matches I've ever attended.

| Saints Vs Wigan for me the the best fixture over the easter holidays closely followed by the Hull derby. Tigers Vs Wakey is usually good but all the off-field stuff has got in the way over the last couple of seasons.

I dunno, I feel the Wakey v Cas games have got more of an edge to them now. Always enjoy beating Cas of course, but recently with all the off field events, it has become a lot more important to me that we win.

Presumably the "Wolves" don't see it as such? What a bizarre use of quotation marks.

| The biggest fixture is Wigan v St Helens, the biggest derby is Hull v Rovers.

| Wigan v Saints has the biggest appeal for me as a neutral; that will be the game that has the most potential to showcase the sport itself.
I've always enjoyed the Hull derby in the past, but given the indifferent form and lack of skill from both sides this season, it doesn't have the same appeal.
I'll have a dog in the fight at Cas v Wakey and expect that to be the personal highlight - should be a spicy one, low on flair but high on biff.

| London vs Catalans is the second biggest fixture of the weekend, because it involves the two most important teams in the competition from a public relations perspective: an English expansion team vs a French heartlands team. People from the north of England whose own team is not playing on that night, if they are genuine fans of the game, should be flocking to this match in their thousands.
But the biggest and most attractive contest is the one being held on Monday in Perpignan between the World Club Runners Up, Leeds Rhinos, and the superb French heartlands team Catalans Dragons. Fortunately for the English fans of champagne rugby league it will be live on Sky.

| I'd suggest that Saints v Wigan is, mainly because not only is it a derby, but both teams are at the top end of the table the majority of the time.
However, the Hull derby is a very special jewel in RLs treasury of entertainment, just because of the passion generated. Is it true they'd sold 15,000 tickets before last friday?
Who gets bigger crowds in Hull, RL or football?

| Attendances, quality of play, intensity, history, league importance, media exposure, non-RL public perception. One fixture stands above the rest on pretty much all of those counts.
