It's not news or information, or to spark a debate. It's just someone nobody cares about writing an over the top article on their opinion on rugby league. Complete waste of time.

I am doing a study on Warrington players who died in the Great War. One is a lad called Johnno Stuntz, who was an Aussie, who joined up in March, 1916, and died on 3.5.17, in the Second Battle of Bullecourt. Johnno didnt have to join up. His father had a German heritage, his mother was Irish, he was married and he was in a reserved occupation (NSW Fire Brigade). He played for Wire in 1909-10 and then went home to play for Easts, Wests, and Souths. If anyone had a good excuse not to join up it was him.
His death was on his first day of action.
This idiot forgets (or neglects to say) that RL players from Aus did volunteer and lose their lives, and that Anzac Day is not reserved for Aussies, there's quite a few Kiwis involved too.
If the paper didn't agree with this clowns opinion, then why publish it?

The same article was in The Courier Mail in Qld today. Just an odd article - not sure what his point is really. I also thought it was meant to be 'funny' but the guy is completely without talent in that regard.

I suggest you put the name of your next offspring down for harrow school at the moment of conception.......start saving now to meet the 23k a Term (3 a year) fees over 6 years, then another 100k for Oxbridge and once the little fella/lass has achieved a BA in Politics and managed to get a job at the Telegraph, get them to publish your thoughts.....although I doubt you'll be alive to read them in print.
The article itself was designed purely to get a reaction.........it did it's job, although I agree with some on here...it was purile at best.
