They don't have chance to be ahead in other areas because they are not in super league.
I can think of a few teams who would add more value to super league than Wakey, Celtic and Quins. But in the bigger picture it would not be right to chuck them out. So let Fax build up those other areas. Lets be honest though many teams are envious of them because the stadium is probably the hardest area to improve.

Depends if you can share with a football or union team it becomes a hell of a lot easier.
Ditto if you have a local council willing to help fund the stadium.

Clubs have had years to sort out this issue.
I heard in Castleford that the council were going to fund loads of developments in different areas, there was a programe on about it, why did the club not tap into this?

Very little money was given out compared to what alot of people were wanting, and it was to be used for a new bridge and redevelopment of the town square (and some local parks) none of this money was ever available for sports and wouldnt have been enough anyway.
The council has publically stated it will not give a penny towards funding stadia for cas, wakey or fev.
Its all well and good saying that clubs have had years to sort this out, but clubs in our district have no council support and no football/union clubs to share with.
Can you tell me one stadium in rl that was built in the last twenty years without the council putting money in or that didnt involve sharing with football or union?

| Pah. You couldn't beat the weavers in the shadow of a half built stand. You've gone all posh on us now.

I'm well aware that it was bankrolled by Tesco but it still goes against the "you need a football club or a supportive council" argument.
St Helens' new ground also won't require the involvement of a football club.

But both have had some council ' help ' , maybe not actual financial , you could say ' Blackmail ' in Warringtons case

Matters not , unless those stadiums have around 5,000 in them on a regular basis , having a nice stadium [ especially one not owned by the club ] is of little consequence, as long as any stadium is fit for purpose and safe it is fine for SL , even Headingley

I hope so, we won the 1st division title and the Challenge Cup in the 1980's. We were almost as good as Widnes
