Only one prop on the bench?


Graham should be used from start, as should Peacock, two of Morley, Carvell, Lynch, Crabtree & -dare i say it? - Faasavalu should be used from bench for impact.

Other than that it looks an okay team, apart from I wouldn't take Burrow or Gleeson.

Morley, Peacock, Graham and Carvell would be my props.

I'd probably agree, but it would be a certainty for me that Peacock and Graham should be starters. Burgess has been ripping it up as impact prop in the last few games though so that would be another option.

It's been said 1000times, but Sinfield is not at all big enough to play in the pack against the Aussies or Kiwis.

Good call on Burgess. Plenty of impact.
Burgess has enough energy to fill in at second row if needed in my opinion so would be a great player to have on the bench.

Yeah, I still don't think he's a Loose though, although he did play a blinder against the french.


I'd see him mostly as a prop, who can also play in the back row.

Loose : O'Loughlin Westerman

I like the idea of Pryce at centre. He's been absolute pish at half back internationally.
Still makes me sad when I see Ben Westwood in an England squad. Are we really that bad?

From my point of view,

He's excellent in defence

He offers a bit more aggression

He always seems to play with pride


I'd love to see him play over JJB anyday.

Brough not being picked should have nothing to do with morals. Its just common sense, he's played for another nation (other than England), therefore he shouldn't be picked for England.

I'd pick the squad that gives us the best chance of winning.


If that includes Brough then so be it.
