I agree to a certain extent, but think incorporating the blue into the shorts/socks with a trim would've tied the whole kit together rather than, like Printer said, it looking like 2 separate kits.

that is a nice shirt, it looks a bit like salford Rochdale and swinton combined they should all merge together and call themselves, lets see something like Manchester united. or Manchester rangers

The Wakey home is great, ruined a bit by that collection of sponsor logos, but still...

I don't think he was getting at Wakefield in that regard because as you say most teams have the same numbers of sponsors. But the sponsors on some shirts are integrated better than others. Hudds home kit has done a good job with those and Saints with the CashConverters logo but appreciate it's sometimes tougher depending what sponsors you have which clubs obviously will sign with based on the quality of the deal and not what their logo will look like on their shirt.

Just taking about home kits, take the codhead shirt -



Whilst the logos are numerous and with little uniformity of shape, they blend in without the distraction of colour.

The Cas shirt -



Lots of logos in clashy colours, but there's a balance of uniformity, positioning and mirroring to it that doesn't itch my eyeballs too much.

Wakey shirt -



Its a great looking shirt with the edge taken off it by a chaotic logo mix of clashing colours, eclectic shapes/designs and poor positioning.
Would be hard to pull those together.
Yeah, course I'd still wear it.
The sponsors want their logos to be noticed, they hardly care if the shirt looks a bag'o', so designers will walk a fine line between the sponsorship parameters that have been agreed and designing a shirt that will sell in numbers.
I'm just saying the wakey shirt is pretty good but both the codheads and cas have made a better job of accommodating the crap..

Yes, the Hull's logo's have been well thought out & put together, making it a really clean looking shirt, as far as the sponsorship side of things go. I suppose that is easier to do on a black and white shirt compared to many of the other teams.

The difference between the Cas and the Wakey shirt IMO is that Cas has got their smaller sponsor logos more integrated and less in your face, with a lot of white wording on their black top part but their main sponsor really does clash & sticks out, maybe the idea. Whilst the Trinity shirt is almost the opposite, the main sponsor integrates very nicely, while the smaller sponsors are a clash of the colors.
