| Quote: who needs flankers? "because its part of Cas. If you are from GH you are from Cas. What I was saying is by your thinking Headingley isn't part of Leeds. '" No, im not, im not sure why you have got so hung up on Glasshoughton and whether or not it is part of Cas. There still isnt that many people in Cas, which is the point it am making. Why would people identify with a team called Cas, when there are very few people from Cas?

Should who in Hunslet be called Leeds?

| The only capitals West Yorkshire has ever had are "W" and "Y". Counties don't have capital cities.

All Widnes is, is an extension of the A562 from Halewood out of Liverpool and like Skem house the overspill from the great city, you should be honoured really your just as much a scouse as those are
Where the hell did i put it about where other places are. I was just pointing out too you that you need to learn to read before you put anything.
Anyway back to what this thread is meant to about.
Hopefully this problem with Wakey's ground will be solved sooner than later as IMO if they play at Barnsley's ground for more than 1 year it will kill the club and that is something this game does not need.

Given it is a year to the inquiry decision and then another year to build the stadium (if they get a yes) Trin need to be somewhere for at least 2 years. For the licence they would have to guarentee that they have somewhere to play for 3 years, and that it would be economically viable to make such a move.
Some plonkers have suggested that wakey may acquire BV and stay there. They fail to explain how wakey will access the £ms needed to buy back the ground.
I hope wakey get a nice ground for championship rugby. If they are well managed they should have a strong C1 team for 2012. The fans could enjoy a season of winning more than 50% of games and a bit of success.

They'll have the same £300K salary cap as all the other Championship clubs. Most of the clubs in the Championship are spending the max cap, so there's no reason to expect Wakefield or any other club that drops out of SL to be able to dominate. They'll be recruiting an entirely new squad, for one thing.

A year to allow for the Public Inquiry takes us to Dec 2011. A year build would take us to Dec 2012. If this were to happen, which of course isn't guaranteed to, then only one season would be needed away from Wakefield.
2011 - Belle Vue
2012 - Alternative ground
2013 - Newmarket

Lets hope that is the case , the one positive at the moment in the Championship is the competitive nature of the top 7/8 teams all being capable of beating each other , to change this by allowing a club to operate differently will really mess things up , that and removing P and R between the Championships will see another nail in the coffin of the lower tiers

Can't be THAT well managed if they go down 2 divisions to champ 1 by 2012

Well done on bringing an irrelevant point to the table. Now jog on and let the grown ups discuss matters.
