can i re-iterate that WHEN WE PLAYED AT CAS IN FEB,THEY ASKED US TO CHANGE KITS SO THEY COULD "SHOWCASE" THEIR NEW ALTERNATIVE KIT, WE AGREED ON THE PREMISE THAT WE REVERSE THE KITS IN THE RETURN FIXTURE,THAT RETURN FIXTURE WAS YESTERDAY,CAS BROUGHT THEIR ALTERNATIVE KIT WHICH WAS NOT WHAT THE CLUBS AGREED ON.
obviously something has gone wrong with the communications somewhere.

Can't happen. The RFL approve all kits and they don't allow any one kit to be the same as both of another teams kit. Although I am sure if Crusaders turned up in bondage gear the RFL would let them play the game. (at first I said "the RFL wouldn't punish them" then I realised how that read) |

Why are so many people blowing steam about this tho? The whole thing was funny as f***, and I felt somehow privileged to have witnessed it live on telly. Yes somebody's ballsed up royally, but these things happen.
Having said that, for a comp currently without a major sponsor, and a track record of struggling to attract a major sponsor, it was a PR disaster. I mean, how can you pitch your product as 1st class professional sport when you've got this sort of thing going down?! |
