Westwood was superb throughout, if your looking for someone who pushed he boundaries look no further than Gallen. |

Wasn't Reed's fault that try was scored. Was abysmal goal line defending from Tomkins and whoever else was there. There was ample time and room to smash the Australian and prevent a try.
Switch roles and the Australians would have prevented that try, with or without one of their rushing up out of the line |

But the difference is when Sam Tomkins ran across the field he drew defenders and either played his man into a break or made a break himself. Briscoe runs up - very, very slowly - and is tackled. He poses no threat and is completely ineffective. |

I don't know if we get opta stats from these games but it'd be interesting to send how many tackle busts Briscoe made for someone who is 'completely ineffective'. |

Red card for an accidental high shot? Give over. Was nothing malicious about it and Westwood milked it for all it was worth.
If an England played was red carded for a similar incident nobody on here - yourself included - would view the decision as the right one.
And Westwood was superb. But if we're talking about players deserving to be binned for ing about in the ruck then Westwood was the worst offender on the field.

Briscoe was flat today. Any average winger could have played as well as him. |

In what way was Williams tackle different to Ewards or Morley?
It was a straight sending off offence and accidental, lazy or any other defence doesn't make any difference. |
