The fact that they [iloaned[/i him to Castleford as part of the Chase deal rather than [isold[/i him suggests they do.

except the difference is players go to those clubs to win silverware and play at the pinnacle of the game, can't really say that about salford can we?

It makes you wonder what Marc Sneyd would like to do next year. The fact that Powell has said he would like to come to an agreement with Salford indicates that our coach has spoke to MS and has got the answer he wanted.
If Dr Evil wants another unhappy half-back on his books then fine. MS only has another year left to do. We'll take him off you for nowt in 2016.

Regarding cheque book has-beens. When recruitment started in earnest last season most pundits put Meli, Lee, Rapiara and Pulutua in this category. The signing of Harrison Hanson though really made people wake-up to thinking that Salford had actually got a great signing similar to that of Chase, Tasi and Hock.
Last night though he looked a shadow of his former self. Uninterested, unhappy and dare I say it - regretful. Wigan certainly didn't look like they were missing him.

It cant be easy, when the coach that persuaded you to "come and join the revolution" gets moved on and replaced by Harris.
Noble may not have been the answer, but chopping and changing coaches a few months into the season certainly isn't and although this may send the message that Dr K wants results, these have to be worked for and not just bought.
The Salford pack was beaten by the Wigan youngsters which, on paper. you wouldn't think was possible.

No but a full time RL career, especially in SL is likely to pay more than the average wage outside of RL. It would be daft not to maximise that where you can, balanced with other factors obviously.
I wouldn't blame any player for going to a club for the money.

| Yep, you could just stay where you are, earning less until it's over, then go to college or Uni' (if possible) and get another reasonably well paid job elsewhere (if possible), then again you could maximise your earnings, put some away and perhaps start your own business at the end of it or even make clever enough investments so you don't have to really work at all.
