you can keep top players in SL.unfortunately, the only way of us keep these players now is reliant on said player not wanting to move to the other side of the world. |

i expect we might see a few of these at Leeds this year, with the new home grown amendment to the cap coming in next year, I can imagine a few players asking for a bit of a rise and a longer extension now their cap value is limited.

Pretty sure if Wayne Rooney signed a 12 month contract extension with Man Utd it would be big news and yet contracts in football mean even less, and football's hardly a sport in decline. |

It's effectively a 2 year extension rather than 12 months and has one of England's/SL's better players signed up for the prime of his career. |
