Seems like an ideal opportunity to cut down the amount of teams has been wasted - we don't have enough good players to support 14 (or even 13) teams.

What is actually happening with Crusaders though. He stated they have withdrawn their application, which i presume means no license. But he also stated 'talks will be undertaken regarding a POSSIBLE drop into the championship next season' does this mean thats not a given then? could they just cease to exist instead? thats the only other obvious choice.

Crusaders went in to administration aswell don't forget and Wakey with their new owner can really kick on now, so well done Wakey. Bit unfair that the rfl probley knew that crusaders had withdrawn a while back but left to announce it this far forward

I think now the soccer club are selling up and the ground too I think the owners just want out. Its a real shame imo and whatever people say about them, it will be a big loss to lose welsh players having a fulltime pathway

As I understand it, SL is a totally seperate entity to the RFL so I presume that the Championships are also.

Halifax do everything that is asked of them and the some. Wakefield do nothin asked of them, as Cullen said not a lick of paint in three years. I would rather have FIFA running our game. RFL van go themselves

If this was happening then two should have DEFFO gone up. Fax deserve a shot as the best overall team in the Chp over the period AND they have a ground ready

I hope they stick with Welsh rugby league at grassroots level. The Crusaders have and had many issues but below super league and above in internationals things have been going verywell for Wales. If they abandon Wales now a lot of progress will be on done and they will just slide off the radar as has happened before.
