Ricky Tomlinson said live on 'This Morning' a few years back that he watches St Helens RL nowadays because the football is a rip off.
Also did a bit of commentating on the pitch before one of our games a while back.
Tim Cahill is at Saints most of the time. Apollo Perrelini was his cousin and is often round town with the lads. He said on the NRL's footy show that he loves relaxing with the Saints lads because it keeps him grounded.

Do you know that for a fact or are you just guessing? Why on earth would anyone pay someone to come and watch a match? They might pay someone to make a guest appearance at an after dinner event or to open a club shop but they wouldn't pay just so they could "watch a match".  |
