| The first half was awful, I wanted to head-butt just about every player on the pitch, and the ref, and the video refs.

| I did not see the incident but I now feel that my children are so shocked from not seeing this episode of violence that there is nothing less than a full game ban required.
Please please ban him and anyone who has played with him in the last 4 weeks, then at last Saints may have a chance if they can get to a Grand Final of not coming up against Leeds.

No, I didn't think so? what you did though however was highlight your intelligence level & understanding or lack thereof and tried the usual RL fans 'I'll respond with an insult or move the discussion away from what I can't actually argue against because it's so bleedin' obvious I'll get slaughtered in a proper discussion with an adult' type response.
Sorry Knockers, I completely lost interest by end of the line two of your rant so gave up. I'm sure there was a point in there somewhere though and hope you got whatever it was you needed to, out of your system.

| Luke Dorn's after match interview was spot on. Shocked that it was Sinny but these things happen in the heat of the moment. Probable 3 match ban - 2 at least.

Mate, don't let your kids watch it. He swore at another player as well. They'll be scarred for life.
Oh and whatever you do, don't let your Mrs see it or she'll never let them play RL.

| It was poor and surprising from Sinfield, but it doesn't deserve more than a 1 match ban. I'd call it sending-off sufficient personally, taking into account that Dorn did get in his face, and that while Sinfield did inexplicably but Dorn, it was a "shove my face into yours" type of butt and not a decent Glasgow kiss, with accompanying crunch and blood.
If Sinfield gets a 3 or 4 match ban then it is in his particular case well OTT both taking into account his record and what he actually did.
What was refreshing was watching a sport where Dorn doesn't flinch, and just looks at Sinfield with a mix of bemusement and shock. In the World Cup, it would have justified a backward swallow dive with triple Salko, a seemingly epileptic, face-clutching fit and floor bang, ten minutes of treatment by at least 6 doctors and paramedics, and stretchering off.

| Sinfield has the easiest defence... Gareth Hock made him do it... simples!!!!
To be fair, he will cop a ban but I hope it's 2 games max as although most opposition fans hate Leeds and are jealous of Sir Kev's abilities, it was totally out of character for him so would be nice for the ban to reflect that...
On another point, Dorn could've avoided contact in the same manner as the poor ref with Gareth

| Dorn's aftermatch interview could also go in Sinfields favour, honest mistake from a top professional and role model, hopefully he gets sending off sufficient doubt it though.

| Although he has to cop some sort of ban for what happened, it certainly wasn't a "Barnsley Kiss".
Some folk are wetting themselves in anticipation but, they are going to be disappointed when it's 1-2 games.
That is unless the "beak" want to make some sort of an example of the England captain.

| Well. I'll stick me neck out and forecast that they (rightly) find a way either not to ban him at all, or make it 1 match.

I don't think you will be far away with that but, I'm sticking with 1-2.
Had it not been on Sky, then 0-1 but I don't think it will be SOS.

He shouldn't have to avoid the contact though should he?

Don't think you can let him off completely. While he does have an excellent record, he is a half back/ball playing loose. Not really a physical player so will always have a decent record. 3 game ban for me.
Just watched the incident again and Peacock grabbing Dorn's throat was really unsavoury for me. I like the biff but stuff like thay doesn't belong in RL. Play football if you want to do dirty little tactics like that. Stuff like that are usually what players with little talent do to try upset opposition. Not players like Peacock. Sort it out man!
