| Man of steel performance from Brough tonight
Terrible defence for Zcharnleys first try, shocking kick led to Charnleys 2nd, poor pass led to blakes

Don't agree it been decided after play-offs. Thus discounts players who play in lesser teams. MOS is an individual award, not team.
On Brough, poor game from him but doesn't mean he he hasn't been the best player this year. Peacock had a shocker when we played them at headingley, in fact he lost them the game.

| A curates egg from Brough tonight. Good running and good kicking ( a couple apart) but a poor passing game. But Wigan won that in the forwards and a lot of Giants players were not where they should have been and Brough's passing could not find them.
Still let's see what else the playoffs bring

| Brough imploded.
Without a dominant front three of Crabtree, Lunt & Kopczak he struggled.
Couple of good line breaks through a gaping defence and some great pressure kicks In the first 20 minutes.
Anonymous in the 2nd half & lost his composure when the going got tough.
When it gets tough Men of Steel stand up, they don't buckle.

So Peacock's never had a bad game this season then?
Good to see Brough running at the line, which apparently never happens.
And like I've said, any half will struggle if the pack gets dominated. The conditions were atrocious for any ball handling displays.

Whatever it felt like, you didn't actually win that game.

to be fair both times he simply ran through a big hole left by McLlorum.
Although no denying his opening try was a blinder.

Brough did everything he needed to do and it wasnt easy, but Wigans defence was absolutely atrocious, Powell and Mcilorum left a hole Brian Blessed would have got through and Tomkins 1-1 defence was just terrible.
I would have backed most halfbacks to score that, and the likes of Chase and Burrow to have ripped Powell apart in that first 10 mins.

Everyone saw the gaping holes Brough ran through. For the rest of the game I can only recall him going at the line & he was stopped. He never breaks tackle or goes at the line to force his way through.
Even when that front 3 came back on he'd lost it. Hudds were a blunt force in the 2nd half & failed to score. Brough was hiding out in the centres much of the time & did nothing.
He didn't lead or organise his team. He spent too much time whinging & sulking.
Big players stand up in big games.

so now you want him to run straight over the top of prop forwards too?

| Couple of moments of magic.
Plenty of sets when his team needed him to put his hand up and take charge where he didn't see the ball until the last tackle.
Whether it pays off or not, whenever Leeds are struggling you can usually rely on Peacock putting his hand up and being first in line for the hard work to get them out of trouble. That's what Man of Steel is about IMO, not being a flat-track bully off the back of a dominant side.

You mean he does what all good half backs do and ran passed a big forward through a hole. He still had to beat Tomkins. Brough had a poor game but to criticise him for running into gaps instead of running over the too of opponents is just making you look very very silly.
It's like me saying Peacock doesn't deserve it because he has no kicking game and hasn't got 40/20 all
Season.
In response to CraigIzzard, well spotted sir I should say Peacock cost them that game
