| How many Pens have their been this game, missed some of the first half. Since I've been watching the ref has hardly had to call one. Far cry from the last game.
LOL soon as I say that 2 in a row.

| I personally find it baffling that a 30,000 capacity ground cant be full for a double header featuring the 3 best teams in the world.

Maybe if it was on a different day it would have been.

Its no surprise when the RFL dont even announce the fixtures and grounds until late in the day and then dont do any marketing aside from emailing (which is becoming less and less effective) the existing list of RFL customers.
Then youve got a double header on a cold Bonfire night when many families will be already going to a Bonfire, then add in a late finish that means you wouldent be back in the heartlands until gone midnight...and you get a sea of Sky Blue seats.
If Wasps were keen to stage this game why didnt the RFL do a deal where the RL could market in and around one of a recent Wasps home games, in exchange for Wasps being able to market themselves tonight? Did they try and do anything in Coventry city centre?

Poorly marketed as per.
bonfire night so kids not bothered, clearly going a few miles for RL fans is too much, same old.
I'm off to London, you gone to a game?

| This game is not being played at NRL level.
It lacks intensity.
Both sides going through the motions.

| Johnson's had a stinker up to that moment, great bit of skill.
On the whole the Aussies have been better, although NZ have really stuck . They've dictated where the game has been played most of the game, apart from a few moments. Even when NZ got more into the game, they were constantly starting their sets in their own 20. Saying that the Aussies should have put this to bed but they haven't yet.

| Quote: tigerman1231 "He is offering a lot more than Gale in this game and i think he will keep his place next week, so it will be between Gale and Widdop next week.'"
Though Gale did get England back in the game with the assist for the first two tries. He also executed the pass to Lomax perfectly which gave McGillvary a walk-in. And he scored a try himself. Key involvement in 4 of England's seven tries isn't a bad afternoon's work.
I was impressed by Williams too. For me, he showed more creativity than Widdop, albeit against a lesser team. He deserves a game against Australia next week.
I'd play Gale and Williams in the halves. I've yet to see Widdop have a good game for England, and he has had enough chances.
