Harrison before Wilkin
If we are picking NZ players for England then Manu over JJB
Westerman not Sinfield as we are better going for a running back rower ahead of an organiser just as Aus (Gallen)& NZ (Blair) do'"
Whilst I think that Bailey has been playing well, I agree that Mossop should be there above him, and possibly LMS too. I'm also unsure about having both Morley AND Peacock, as they're both getting on and I think we should be blooding some youngsters.
I'd have Brough in over McGuire, mainly as I think he's a better kicker, although I see imagine the starting halves to be Widdop and Chase.
Is Luke Robinson injured or something? I'm a fan of his and thought that he was very impressive in the 4-nations last year.

Cracking point there. Why has Willie Manu not been picked?

| Quote Steve-O="Steve-O"1 more assist than Brough this year. 7 games less'"
...and five Grand Final winners rings!
McGuire was head and shoulders the best 6 in Super League in 2010 before his injury at Wigan and Sam only ended up getting in the dream team ahead of him at 6 because of the dream team selection rules that meant he could not be selected at full-back.
In 2011 McGuire is still some way off what I think was his best ever personal form season in 2010, and think that both Chase (leaving out any argument of eligibility) and Lomax was the correct choice ahead of McGuire, but with Lomax injured then he certainly is the right choice ahead of Brough, who is in poor form.

Brough I agree with.
Atkins apparently asked not to be picked.
I'd have Charnley above both.
Agree about Harrison.
Since when was Willie Manu from New Zealand?
Year too early for Westerman I feel.

| Broughs form hasn't been good enough! All England fans have asked for is players on form of late, you've got it in this squad yet we still can't win in the minds of some.

| Basically, a fan of club X will ask for player Z from club X to be in over any other.
On that form, I say Diskin, Donaldson, Hargreaves, Scruton, Burgess and Whitehead in over them all!

I haven't suggested a single Wakefield Trinity player!

| FWIW Heighington is an 80-minute player, not a bench option.
Regardless of who is picked, I hope we see more players stand up to be counted - i.e. show what they are capable of. Too many of our SL 'stars' seem to disappear completely against the Aussies in particular.

A couple of those should get in over Ryan Bailey.

Brough should be in, we need an organising 7 with a kicking game, and McGuire isn't that.'"
Did you see the big number 12 on Ablett's back too? Where was he playing?
Squad numbers mean jack these days.
Also McGuire is a very good organiser. 1st impressions last though and by the majority of people he will always be seen as a player whos only atribute is that he can back up. He's not 21 any more you know. He has got better year on year and is a very good all round player with a very good kicking game. Last year McGuire carried Leeds. This year he was injured until May but for the last 2 or 3 months since he has got back to full fitness he has been at the heart of everything good Leeds do... at 7.

It is also a bit of a braindead move from Crapbanana to include Bailey after what happened to Sam Tomkins against the exiles. Does he really think the Saints fans are going to cheer Bailey on?
