OK, two thing there.
Firstly, most clubs have community departments. Their job is literally to engage with schools and amateur clubs. If was a long time since I was at school but I distinctly remember Leeds Rhinos players coming and running PE lessons.
Secondly, you said that there were people who "didn't know about RL" in those areas mentioned. That's an issue that goes beyond schools and something that clubs can address themselves, but you (probably deliberately) twisted it into an issue about schools.
