This is 100% correct, however some on here won’t have it, they are convinced rules are bent in Toronto’s favour, when in fact the opposite is true.

after the expansion team who have been in existence for less than 2 years, Toronto, gave Leigh, who have been existence for hundreds of years yet still can’t get in super league yet another mullering, it’s plain to see that Toronto deserve to be in SL. Probably at the expense of Widnes

So the crux of your argument is that Toronto have only been around for a couple of years so they deserve to be given a place in SL? Impressive that you think Leigh have been around for "hundreds" of years as well!

No. That’s not what I’m saying at all but feel free to use poetic licence. What I’m saying is that there are clubs who have been around for decades who “still” contribute nothing to the game as a whole. They have had chance after chance so it’s time clubs like Toronto have their chance. <Not acceptable, removed>.

I guess it depends on how you define a contribution to the game? Fax have little money, but now have a steady flow of Championship standard players coming through their reserve team, at least one of whom looks destined for SL in the next couple of years. I see that as a very real positive contribution to the game, as it's delivering good quality players into a diminishing pool at a professional level in the UK.

I'm a Fax fan with more than 40 years of tears and joy (mainly tears) behind me.
