| His hand is on the line so isn't he out of play?

| Foot was clearly planted by the time Solomona gripped his collar. Over now!

| Well, that knock on kills it. Guess Hull will just have to keep winning to open up the gap again

| His fingertips were JUST off the dead ball line, good work. Well I didn't see this result coming before kick off

| Got over the line enough times to win - one wrongly disallowed and Dorn knocking on with the line at his mercy though. So not too bad.
Some VERY dodgy defence, some dodgy refereeing and conditions that don't suit Cas' style of play (which is why they'll struggle in the playoffs if they get there) mixed in with that...too much for Cas to over come today.

| Don't think Wigan have scored 30+ many times this season so the weak defense and one or two poor calls have decided this. Give it to Wigan though they went to Cas and did the job.

| Also for all the stick that Matty Smith gets from his own fans I think his kicking game was a big factor in tonight victory.

That Matty Smith is miles away from the Smith of a couple of months ago to be fair. He's improved massively since Williams and now Tomkins have come in.

Point taken. He could be a confidence player. I know it's different positions but Atkins for us was dire last year but this year he's been pretty solid while we've had a strong team out and been winning games. Having those players back has probably help take pressure off.

Think it was a "sympathy decision" by the ref, it looked very much that his wrist had the downward pressure before his fingers touched the line. Glad Wigan won in the end the Sky Commentary just seemed to have this "love in" with Castlefords attacking style totally ignoring the fact that they have the worst defensive points in super league.

| I thoroughly enjoyed that, it wasn't until the Smith drop-goal that I thought one team would win it.
Looking at the scoreline people would think the defence was poor, but some of it was brutal.
Both teams were really up for it tonight, but Wigan just deserved it.
Things I've gleaned from tonight, Matty Smith's goal kicking has improved, Tomkins & Solomona ain't B.F.F's & Milner throws his arms up in faux outrage more than any player in S.L.

| Only saw the last 30 mins but Wigan were disallowed a try that should've stood and should've had an 8 point try for the challenge with the knees on Charnley.
Whilst Cas may feel hard done to with some of the other decisions they got as much go their way too in my opinion.
