You can't ban someone for having a valid opinion, but you can get banned for dodging the swear filter. icon_wink.gif

STFU although I'll give you the charge down. Its nothing to do with insecurity by the way. Its more to do with knowledge or rather you're complete lack of it.

That was directed at smokey. I'm sure he will take great pleasure in people getting banned. Now added to the foe list for the sake of my health.

Ok so tell me, what parts of Leeds performance were very good, considering we won quite comfortably in the end who stood out as performing at the very top of their ability? Which of our international players put in world class performances?

Also just so i know, are we supposed to pretend the first 20 mins at Wigan have also been at a really high level? Because that has also been pretty low quality so far, but i would back either of them to have beaten us based on our performance yesterday.

You can only play as well as the opposition allow you to play

So yes Leeds were crap, they allowed us to play great RL, we on the other hand were fantastic, not letting them play to their incredibly high standard

Its all about LEEDS

as I said Peacock retired last night

Amusing to see Smokeys social skills remain undeveloped.

He's one of those people who folk only bother with when they might want to borrow his ladders or a maybe an odd shaped spanner.

Dour? There's more fun in toothache.

Get out a bit lad and kiss some women.

Well that sentence is just nonsense. You can play as well as you can play. If I stepped on the field and the opposition allowed it, i wouldnt suddenly turn in to Darren Lockyer.

Quote: Starbug "So yes Leeds were crap, they allowed us to play great RL, we on the other hand were fantastic, not letting them play to their incredibly high standard

You didnt play great RL. You got beaten by 13 points by a team who played very poorly. They did oustandingly well for a semi-pro team against a full-time one and did the championships proud. Either of Wigan or Cas today would have beaten Leeds and neither played anywhere near their best Rugby today, it was an error fest.

Quote: Starbug "as I said Peacock retired last night'"
Ha, Peacock was the best forward on the park by a country mile, a ton of tackles, a ton of metres, 2 clean breaks and he managed to teach an idiot a lesson that even if you want to stick the head on a prone man whilst he is being tackled to the ground, your going to take a few for your trouble. But you cant win with one Prop, and one second rower as your pack.

Bless Smokey TA (all that's missing is w & t)
Wonder what he's like when Rhino's Lose....a right SORE WINNER at best.
Guess he's embarrassed at his beloved Rhinos struggling against some 'part timers'.
And it could have been a lot worse....AND YOU KNOW IT !

Its rare that teams put in complete performances week in week out, Leigh didn't allow leeds to play for large parts due to the centres and wingers coming in fast which often forced errors on your backs. They almost stung you on Friday but for a lack of composure and fitness in that last 20 minutes. Just accept it and praise the lobby for an excellent performance.

Oh and don't be a t[ii[/it all your life eh.

One thing I did notice last night especially in the 2 nd half was how long Leeds ' water boy ' was on the pitch ,it was like an under 6 s match at times icon_eek.gif do all these full time experienced RL players really need constant coaching like kids?

Smokey excelled in the Wigan/Cas thread, suggesting that Thaler carried on as he had done in the Leeds/Leigh game; does he actually watch any games?

Just to restore a bit of balance to the thread, I thought we (Leeds) were ok on Friday. I've seen us play worse this season more than once. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and tbh wouldn't have been upset had we lost. That's never how I feel when ineptitude costs us a game.

Indeed it ended up a thoroughly enjoyable Cup tie.

Smokey's attitude seems to reflect that of the bitter Leeds fans who were kicking off near the Leigh supporters coaches.

There's an attitude from some Leeds fans that Leigh had no right showing up their big money full-time team with our part-timers.

Well boo-freaking-hoo.

Leeds had their best available side out and they struggled to deal with Leigh in their own back yard and were fortunate to walk away as victors.
