If only he had played as consistently as he has this season for the last couple of seasons and earned his England place prior to the alleged falling out. Sounded to me like he threw his dummy out expecting to be in the ETS rather than putting his effort into playing his way into it.

He's certainly showed everyone what he is capable of, shame it took him so long and that he wont have a cat in hell's chance of lifting the RLWC.

If no opposition players fear or respect him, how come they voted him into the short list? You can't just make things up, repeat them, and then expect people to eventually believe you!

What stats prove you are a good leader or organiser?

Surely being the captain and half back of the team that finishes top is a pretty handy stat in his favour? Or does it only matter if your squad has injuries?


Not sure what they class as attacking kicks or not.
But he's kicked 6 40/20s this season according to SL site (more than any player). Dobson or Sinfield don't even feature.

Don't agree it been decided after play-offs. Thus discounts players who play in lesser teams. MOS is an individual award, not team.

On Brough, poor game from him but doesn't mean he he hasn't been the best player this year. Peacock had a shocker when we played them at headingley, in fact he lost them the game.

A curates egg from Brough tonight. Good running and good kicking ( a couple apart) but a poor passing game. But Wigan won that in the forwards and a lot of Giants players were not where they should have been and Brough's passing could not find them.

Couple of good line breaks through a gaping defence and some great pressure kicks In the first 20 minutes.

Anonymous in the 2nd half & lost his composure when the going got tough.

And like I've said, any half will struggle if the pack gets dominated. The conditions were atrocious for any ball handling displays.
