1 yes having high profile players playing for ' your ' country can help raise interest , but overdo it and it can then be detrimental
2 by giving your local players the opportunity of playing for ' your ' country can also help develop interest |

Yes it can , just as actually having localised interest matters as well , gutterfax's point is if you p155 off the local potential future coaches,administrators by treating them shabbily you might well lose them to the sport |

They aren't idiots. |
