Pr!ck, of course no other player dropped the ball last night, did they? What about up the other end where he cut France apart? easy to forget he grabbed two tries, eh?

Exactly the same as me, but Heigington replacing Westwood.

Good report that. Gives a much more accurate view of the game than some of the one-eyed comments elsewhere in this thread

Signed for Wakefield as far as I know

| I would have gone for the Widdop/Chase half back pairing but surely McNamara is looking at Sinfield at 6 for the 4 Nations otherwise why would he play him there in the only warm up game (I guess he could have been planning to give Sinfield and Widdop both time at 6 but taking Tomkins off scuppered that)
I think continuity if important so I would go with the same team but bring Carvell onto the bench to replace either Wilkin or JJB

Tend to agree though I thought Wilkin had a strong game when he came on so it would be JJB missing out for me.

When are the coaches going to learn and play players in their natural positions?'"
Probably the same time the RFL pick a coach that can actually do a job.

Which players were out of position? Certainly none of the three quarters or any of the pack. You could make an argument that Chase has been 6 all year but 7 against the French but half backs these days switch pretty easily
So that leaves Sinfield who while better known as a loose forward has been dominant for Leeds at stand-off in their run to the SL title
It’s hardly like the days when we had Richard Horne on the wing
McNamara gets some stick – some of it valid but he certainly didn’t pick a team with players (plural) out of position

Would be happy with that team. Personally would have ablett on bench instead of wilkin and JJB. Would also be tempted to replace Morley with Bailey. Something different to our other props.

| Got back a few hours ago from Avignon. A big crowd but virtually no one paid to get in. My mate had ordered tickets in the Jean Ray tribune (the side stand you could see on the tv) only to get to the collection point to be told there was no record of our order. We were then given tickets in the main stand and ended up sat a couple of seats away from McNamara! Another couple of England fans weren't so lucky, they had also ordered tickets but were just told to go round to the other side where any onion johnny and his dog could walk in. Absolutely no stewards inside the ground, I really dread to think what would have happened if another 5000 had turned up.
As for the game, thought Chase look very lively but seemed to be trying a bit too hard, looking for a 'hollywood' pass every time. Was a bit concerned about his defending though. Heighington did some good defensive work.
Heard a couple of comments from McNamara, Tomkins was taken off for protection as they really seemed to be going for him, and JJB was taken off because he'd 'lost his head', this was just after i'd said to mate that he'd made the last three tackles! Daryl Powell was absolutely fuming about the national anthems!! I reckon there were probably about 30 England fans there in total. Hope everyone got home ok, especially the Wakey fan who was going through the entire trip without sleep.

Lol!!! Leeds fan by any chance?
Bailey + Ablett should be nowhere near the squad let alone the team!
