Excellent news , hopefully there will shortly be an announcement from the RFL telling us how much they are putting into them to keep them going
But there wont will there , what will happen is the RFL budget for ' development ' work in Wales has just increased by 800 K for 2011

Funny how some of these clubs can go from 'no comment' to all happy & dancing after a meeting with the RFL 
Nothing against Cru and hope all gets sorted for fans but lately the RFL are being shown up for the sham they are!

If not, then I would ask you to edit your post and remove these unsubstantiated claims. |

So far during their two years in SL the club have had players deported over illegal visas, are being taken to court over non-investment in promised pensions and are now the subject of a winding-up order. For me, the club can't seem to run itself to any decent standard and will inevitabely collapse, it's just that the longer the RFL allow them to remain in SL the more damage their demise will do to the game.

I'm not sure if that's meant to be an insult? As my username suggests, I'm actually from Nottingham, which is not renound for the fashion of flat caps.
It does seem rather unfair that anyone pointing out the truths about the seemingly sacred, but failing, club are simply dismissed as relics from some other generation.
I'm actually a supporter of expansion in the game, but the expansion clubs need to run themselves properly. Unfortunately, Crusaders have not managed to do this. |
