Not really, you could of won the game more comfortably if you didn't instead you gained an undeserving win the last minute. Leeds looked fearful of Wigan's defence which was typifed by kicking for goal against 12 men, kicking for goal from far out and also kicking on the 2nd/3rd plays a few times. Oh well, congratulations.

I half agree. He wasn't particularly good but he made some decisions that fans maybe didn't like and they paid off in the end. If Leeds lose that game and run the penalties then there would be complaints that we didn't kick for goal in a tight game. The fans will go home happy having seen an exciting finish to a game where we probably were 2nd best. |

Excellent game.
Nice to see a referee take control of things and actually penalise offending teams for once rather than watching 80 minutes of infringements, maybe the teams will take note eventually.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

So basically we should run the ball all the time when the weather is horrendous and the ball is akin to a bar of soap? We scored one try to Wigans zero and bombed a great chance for another. I really don't understand these complaints. It was like a GF. Kick the 2's when they are available as the weather isn't too great. |
