How much are you betting it won't make the Fijian news?
(As but one example)

| Can't be bothered to go through 11 pages, so I apologise if it has already been discussed, but why should Leeds be crowned WCC? I know they've rejected the thought of it anyway, but I just don't see how anyone thought they should be. Melbourne denied another team the opportunity at the WCC, which could have beaten Leeds.
And besides, the salary cap in the NRL and the salary cap in the SL aren't the same anyway, so the WCC isn't a salary capped competition technically. Melbourne Storm are the best club side in the world, they just cheated to gain qualification (so shouldn't have been given a shot at it!).
And yes, I accept that there are probably a million flaws in my argument, but there are some valid points too!

| Why would a club run a second set of books so close to the main ones- Surely the wealthy owners would pay through there main business books which the RFL/NRL wouldnt get access to. All seems a bit simple to me!!

| IIRC, in 2005 Leeds lost to Hull in the CC final, lost out in the race for the minor premiorship to Saints, and lost the grand final to Bradford. All of which were later found to have cheated the salary cap. Should the RFL follow the lead of the NRL, and declare Leeds the winner of the 2005 quadruple (they won the WCC that year as well)?????

I'm guessing quite a few teams will be in for him.
St Helens, Bradford and maybe Huddersfield.

The NRL haven't declared Manly or Parramatta as the winners of the NRL in 2007 and 2009 respectively, so how would the RFL be following the NRL's lead by declaring Leeds as the winners of competitions that they didn't win?
IIRC, Saints and Hull were found guilty of technical breaches rather than actually going over the cap, but I may be wrong. Either way, it is irrelevant. The breach has been done, and the relevant punishments have been handed out already. It would be ridiculous to punish them again because another organisation has done something different. Future punishments, yes why not.
