I doubt it personally but I'd consider anything over 5000 as a great success considering last year.
It's okay with hindsight but if you'd have said at Christmas that after 2 games the average gate would be 9k you'd have spat your beer on your computer in laughter

Farrell did well for the England team. He was playing in a struggling team but if you check out the tackle counts, he more than held his own. He just wasn't outstanding. |

It might surprise you to learn that not everybody has even heard of the British and Irish Lions. Jason Robinson hadn't until he was picked for them. So being captain of them doesn't exactly count for much in the recognition stakes. |

Stunning. i was going to read all 11 pages of this but had to stop at this point.
Thomas was a Lions captain and a world class player. He is a very strong runner and is physically still in very good nick. In his prime he would have been an outstanding league player.
I read some would want him in the secondrow etc....what planet are you on. If he signs he will play on the wing or at fullback and he will go very well for the next 18 months.
His style of play is totally league orientated, he will not have to learn anything new and personally i cannot wait to see him play. |
