| The 1999 Grand Final re-match at the MCG.
Nathan Brown takes the 20 meter tap and promptly hits a diving Lance Thompson in the head with the ball.

Well isn't just Craven Park better/more suitable then New Craven Park seeing as how we are close to entering our fourth decade of playing there?!

Okay let's just call it New Craven Park for another 100 years then!
New Wembley has only been open two years, but the name has already (generally) been cut to just Wembley.

| Away at Halifax 2001 - 2003 sometime - there was this Steward watchin all the Wakey fans with like a scruffy bobble hat on, greasy long hair and a scraggy beard and he was just sat there not doing much and mindin his own business, then a big chant of "Gyppo for Wakefield!" rings out and everyone pointin at him - he just looked totally nonplussed by it lol

| It must have been a couple of years ago, but, I remember Shawn Long sprinting away, diving over the line, in true acrobatic style, only to knock on.
It didn’t affect the result, but it made me smile.
But the Sheriffe brainstorm was comedy gold.

Beat me to it, absolutely hilarious!!!
Not exactly funny but weird. Leeds V Wigan, must have been about 94/95, Leeds kicked off and Jason Robinson catches it, starts running and suddenly stops holding the ball up, the Leeds players look confused and still charge at him but then realise the ball is punctured and suddenly goes as flat as a pancake.

Possibly because Wembley Stadium has always been just that since it was renamed from the Empire Stadium, while Caravan Park was officially named "New Craven Park" when it was built and has never had it's title changed.
Anyroad, back on topic;
The ground where Toulouse played Leigh had, for some reason, a little rockery and some elevated decking between the 10m and 20m lines along one side that quickly became the vantage point for 80-90 well-oiled Leythers. As the songs were flying about, several were stood on a ledge at the top of said rockery, only to stumble and roll down several feet of Charlie Dimmock's only known foray in sports ground design, with none of them spilling more than about 10ml of their 5E pints

| Widnes vs Saints cup semi-final in 1996.
St Helen's mascot, that stupid St Bernard thing was walking round acting like the cheesiest mascot ever and my brother turned round to me and said, I'd love it if somebody crunched him. Literally about 10 seconds later one of the fans dressed up as an Arab that used to follow Widnes legged it on to the pitch and tackled him from behind. He was then chased around by stewards for about 30 seconds. The whole Widnes end just burst out laughing.
Also thought it was funny when we went to Fax near the end of the year they got relegated and only won one game and when they were reading out the team they introduced one of their fat forwards and was like, 'He doesn't know how to lose its....'

| This happened today vs Celtic.
It was early in the second half and Celtic were on the attack in Wigan's 20, they messed it up with a knock on and, after waiting to see if there was any advantage from a Wigan point of view, Ganson blew his whistle.
The lady behind me shouteds[/ihite, Ganson!"
