| Firstly let's not detract from what an utterly shambolic, embarassing capitulation that was from Salford (my team). Neither decision decided the game (although the first contributed to a huge momentum swing).
However, both were disgraceful decisions from an absolute joke of a ref. Brilliant tackle and quick thinking from Atkin to stop a try and rip the ball all in one movement so a penalty was harsh enough but the yellow was just clueless officiating (the TJ needs to take just as much of the blame).
And the PP sending off? Marginally late, not high, no contact with head, not dangerous. So yeah, straight red is the obvious decision.
Take nothing away from Rovers though. Decent team this year who are much better than the sum of their parts. Unfortunately Salford are the polar opposite. Yes the injury list is horrendous but no desire, no structure and dare I say it, Leigh might just have a lifeline.

| The Chris Atkins decision was worse than the Paul Paulie sending off, but both were wrong. Brilliant effort from Atkins, Salford should have come away with the ball, but Kendall thought otherwise.

| The first yellow was correct IF the referee/touchie decided the steal was illegal. Which it wasn't. However that was a 50/50, very fast call that as they mentioned on the Sky commentary was almost impossible to see even in slow motion.
The kick out was a definite penalty - stupid and potentially dangerous even if it looked innocuous. Not sure if it's supposed to be a yellow card in that circumstance or not but Kendall evidently thought it worthy of it.
The red was marginal - a clear penalty because late and didn't attempt to wrap his arms around the player. Yellow card probably would have been correct but red harsh. Probably will get sending off sufficient from the disciplinary review although on review it might nudge up to a game ban.

| The Qunlan one was the most contentious of the 3 not cos detriment to us just because the player reached out to score Grounded it short then Quinlan stuck his peg out. The ball was already lost. Cheap call made from a cheap ref trying to even up a terrible call earlier against Salford. 3 cards and at worst the red could have been a yellow. God forbid any team getting this womble in charge when they play Huddersfield

Nah, to be fair that was probably the clearest-cut of the lot. You can't stick your leg into the ruck area and kick the ball out like that. Stupid by the defender.

Ha Ha, I think most of us can agree Chris Kendall didn't have his best game tonight, as difficult as it is having to referee a match.

Was not the ball already grounded short and lost?

The ball was short but it wasn't lost. He still had his hand round it. Would have just been play on. Theres a decent chance he would have lost it getting back to his feet cause it wasn't a particularly good grip he had, but Quinlan took that chance away from him.
In my opinion the most clear cut decision of the 3, but still maybe slightly harsh to get a yellow for it.

dboy there's nothing wrong with having different opinions that's what this forum is for, I genuinely believe there was intent you clearly disagree, personally I'm not fussed either way I just voiced my opinion for what it was worth and I'm not prepared to get involved further, the review panel will sort it one way or tuther, but please don't lower yourself to the standards of some on here with the inference that I maybe on drugs, your much better than that.

| Firstly well done Rovers had heart and desire something we used to have and lost it once the incompetent Marshall and Orr rocked into town.
We had some good momentum early on and the outright bent Kendall "yeah I said it bent Kendall" changed that with one of his normal crooked decisions something he does every game. we're sh*te under Marshall needs to go now, but with around a dozen out "injured or whatever" and no confidence the last thing we need is that crook. I'm close to done with this sport.

| Just seen this, looks a cynical late hit with the shoulder no or little attempt at a real tackle, 4 match for that RFL set a president early in the season with Tetavano. Consistency is what we want.

I suggest you look again as you're either blind or you've had too much sun today
4 game ban my 'arris. Behave yourself. But the RFL have plenty of previous of giving Salford players ridiculously harsh bans so probably 8 games.
And no it wasn't shoulder, it was a chest on hit.
