| You'll only know if he's come for a juicy paycheck when he gets on the field but my mind is taken back to Andrew Gee and Alan Langer. Not awful but in general were at Warrington for an end of career pension top-up.

Langer and Gee and Nikau played in a very very average Warrington team...things have changed A LOT since those days. Despite not winning a G.F. Wire are now one of the biggest clubs in the competition, with numerous challenge cup and league leaders shield wins. The team is not full of bang average players, so GI will join an already good team, the current CC holders and contenders to win more silverware.

"It's the refs fault again". Biggest moaning whingers in RL.: |
|
| Another past it player signs up at the Wire to join the likes Burrell and Widdop looking for a pension top-up.
Laughable seeing Warrington fans heralding this acquisition though. They did the same when they signed Burrell and he's done nothing for them and has since been hammered by their fans.

You are absolutely right Jonno, no difference at all between Burrell and Inglis... Total lack of ambition by Wire. Their error will become all too apparent when they face Widnes in the league next season.

| Yeah his old and seen better days but realistically that's the only time players such as this will come to SL.
The days of signing foreign stars at their peak are well gone.
Considering where the game is right now this is undoubtedly a good news story for Superleague.
It's not as if the game in this country is flush with young world class players right now and Inglis is stealing a spot from someone else.

| In no realm of reality can this be considered a bad signing. A gamble, possibly.
A great player, had plenty of time to fully recover from his past injuries. He may not be the stand out superstar he was but a very good (as a minimum) super league player he will be.
It’s also nice to hear a bit of good news for the sport in this country too.
