Having an opinion that doesn't agree with yours isn't against the AUP.
Having multiple accounts isn't against the AUP.
Jumping on the poster, name calling and drifting the thread rather than simply ignoring an opinion you don't agree with is, as is criticising the moderation process.

Strange comments from Clarke.
Most of the players at Salford have played at other SL or NRL clubs.
Most are signed to SL clubs for 2020.
His comments are therefore ridiculous.

I don't actually think he's far wrong, Salford have had an amazing season as a whole but I just don't think you can deny that on paper and removing "current" form a lot of the players are bang average and remove them from their current set up I think this would show.

I've said elsewhere that Watson deserves all the accolades because he has turned previously bang average players into good players. But even I wouldn't have said they are Championship level. Lower SL maybe.

Lower super league is a more apt description.
Put Hastings in any team and they'd improve.
Get Watson coaching them and they have a team that can challenge.

Clarke was paying Salford a compliment. However, if it draws some attention to the OP, why let facts get in the way of some social media attention.

Whilst Watson is a cracking coach the players deserve massive credit for buying into his vision. I also find it amusing that Toronto players are all SL players playing in the Championship yet Salford players are the opposite?

The fact is that Salford are a perfect example of a TEAM. Some superstars , some grafters (with ability), some promising younger players, some *cast-offs", some "projects". Most of them had something to prove when Watto & Blease brought them in and boy have they done that. Throw a young, intelligent, ambitious coach into that mix and you've got potential dynamite.

The attention that Phil Clarkdouze's occasional controversial comment attracts only reflects how dull the other 99% of his output is.

I think Clarke was just trying to emphasise what a good job Watson has done at Salford, he says daft things at times, he’s human. As a neutral I hope it’s a great game tonight, and as Salford are the underdogs hope they can do it, as a previous poster has said, they have been a breath of fresh air.

According to the esteemed "expert" phil clarke, salford havent been champions since before the second world war.....i've not got his "expertise" but i could have sworn they won it a couple of times in the seventies
