Scrappy first half but a better second with some decent tries scored. Always going to be tough for Wire with the quick turnaround, but for Salford they hold no fear of Warrington. Beaten them twice previously when the quick turnaround wasn't an excuse. Whatever happens, it's been a good season for us, and after the years of battling to stave-off relegation in whatever form, it's nice to be relaxed watching Salford for a change.

I can not understand why both teams that played on Saturday in the cup have to play Thursday and Friday they both should have played Saturday or Sunday other teams should have played Thursday and Friday no matter who was at Wembley the other teams have had a fortnight of

Justin Holbrook is a gentleman and a great coach of rugby league players. His success this year with St Helens has been noted around the world, and has rightly earned him a Head Coach appointment in the NRL, the greatest rugby league competition in the world. Justin Holbrook surely deserves the title of coach of the year, especially since St Helens are near certainties to win the Grand Final at Old Trafford -- a sporting event that Ian Watson's Salford has no chance of attending.
