| Western terrace holds about 4k doesn't it ? Granted there are some home fans in there, the "allocation" in rugby league rarely means much as there's near enough always pay on the gate available.

Great Achievement, specially give that London were at Home and an average of 15,404 for the other 5 games is pretty special. It's also dragged the season average back up to over 8,400,when it was languishing at 7,250 before......we need these 80,000 fans back every weekend!!!!

| Had Catalans been at home that day, we'd have had an even better figure to use.
If we could ever get Bradford back in the league alongside Toronto and Toulouse, you could one day have a round like:
Leeds vs Bradford - 20k+
Hull FC vs Hull KR - 20k+
Wigan vs St Helens - 20k+
Toulouse vs Catalans - 18k+
Warrington vs AN other - 10k+
Toronto vs AN other - 8k+

That was a great effort, it's a long way from Huddersfield to Wakefield and credit should be given for managing to get so many fans to make the journey. ![bow down a014.gif](images/smilies//a014.gif)

Why Toronto??
Cas Vs Wakey on good Friday (not a Thursday night) would of been over 11k for sure. We all know Thursday night sky games are poor for attendance figures.

Thursday night is no excuse for a local derby when nobody is at work the next day and nobody has to travel

| Because Toronto are already pulling in that number in the Championship so I was being conservative. In SL, they might move the odd game to a bigger stadium for all I know.
I don't understand how a Thursday night would affect the attendance for a game involving 2 teams from the same area.

It depends who is playing, what there is "on" the game and of course whether it's being televised (they usually are on a Thursday).
You're estimate for Toulouse v Catalan was impressive though
Most people, assuming that they work, finish a little earlier on Fridays but, Thursday can be a stretch.
As a Trinity fan, it's just as quick to get to your place for a game as it is to get to Leeds or Huddersfield and whether you agree or not, there are some who just cant be bothered on a Thursday and would rather watch at home or in the pub.
Not a problem for Toronto, Catalan or Toulouse, if they are at home - they always play on Saturday's and good for them ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif)

We pull in 8k pretty much every week. When teams like Leeds, Hull teams and Wakey come to town we go over that figure. Not sure why putting in Toronto over Cas makes a difference.....

It's common sense every knows Thursday attendances have always been affected. Just because it's Easter weekend makes no difference. I bet If Wigan Vs Saints was the Thursday game I bet it wouldn't of hit that figure either.
My point isn't aimed at this anyway. My point is..... The poster said Toronto would get 8k at a home game. Cas Vs Wakey attracted 10k beating his guessed figure so why put Toronto over Cas Vs Wakey.

No it didn't, it got 9k.
I put a run of the mill Toronto attendance because they have more scope to grow.
And didn't Leeds v Bradford regularly occur on Thursday and get 20k...
