A few poor decisions by Thaler and his blind assistants but no complaints about the result at all. Saints were quicker, smarter, more physical and dominated the game. Did the handful or so Salford fans at any point attempt to get behind their own side? From what I heard on tv they were more interested in baiting the woolybacks rather than backing the Salford players. Their team has improved immeasurably from a year ago and 26-4 slightly flattered Saints.

Meanwhile Tommy Makinson plays for a team who are top of the league and have won every game so far while Johnstone plays for a team who are 9th and lost to London.
