A few poor decisions by Thaler and his blind assistants but no complaints about the result at all. Saints were quicker, smarter, more physical and dominated the game. We can't compete with that on our resources so it was a shot to nothing tonight. Hopefully the knocks we picked up aren't too bad but fear Mossop could be a few weeks and if Jacko gets a timeout for concussion then that's him missing Catalans away, which is a big miss against a Catalans side yet to hit their straps.
Big month coming up for us with some tough games so need to dig in now and try and pick up a shock win or 2. |

He was only chasing down makinson who tonight ran like a slug, twice in open play failed to cross the line, now had it been Johnstone his tongue would of been down by his knees trying to keep up |

Did the handful or so Salford fans at any point attempt to get behind their own side? From what I heard on tv they were more interested in baiting the woolybacks rather than backing the Salford players. Their team has improved immeasurably from a year ago and 26-4 slightly flattered Saints.
