Other SL / Championship clubs wouldn't be given that level of leeway EVERY season. |

But the argument was about anthems.
But on your point, is playing away from their natural home “leeway”....surely a disadvantage that they’ll have to put up with. |

a) they don't need to be
b) they wouldn't want to be.
Would cause real cash flow problems for some, I'd imagine. And for every scenario in which block games are perceived to bestow advantage, it's possible to conjure up an equally plausible reason why the opposite would apply. |

Correct
Perfect example of someone having a Biase in the first place, and looking for every tiny possible argument against them to try and affirm.
I'm neither here nor there over Toronto's inclusion, but I look at each and every argument based on its own merit.
As a standalone argument there's only one thing that's an issue regarding national anthems that a a joke and it's this thread. |

The likes of Wigan and Hull FC often go play very limited home games in the summer months so the pitches can "rest" ahead of the football season. |

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
