You mean that you don't keep up with the premier competition of rugby league.
Well let me tell you that Richard "Ricky" Leutele was in 2018 one of the ace centres of the NRL, playing with the Cronulla Sharks. He would be an asset to any northern hemisphere team, and will shine with the Toronto Wolfpack. The Canadian team will soon be in Super League, challenging the likes of Wakefield to try to keep within 20 points behind. |

I thought that was supposed to be happening this season, after Tremendous Toronto walked the Grand Final against Lowly London.
With the spend that Toronto have on their squad, when compared to the rest of The Championship, their promotion really should be a foregone conclusion but, so it was last season as well.

Tupou is better value for money than Jennings would be IMHO. |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
