Michae carter and Neil Hudgell are buying it. You’d think they’d prefer to spend 700k on their own respective squads if that’s the sort of cash they have lying around but there you go.'"

| Well done to the Bulls. Hope to see you back at the top (just behind Wakefield of course) soon.

The mid 90s side was coached by Brian Smith and then Potter, as far as I'm aware there wasn't much of a problem then, maybe thinking of the mid noughties or should that be naughtys?
i.e. the time of the Leeds/Harris episode, the breaking of the salary cap due to 'media rights' issues, etc

| Cheers for the comments guys. Hopefully we are now being run correctly and not boom or bust men. It has been tough but yesterday was a great feeling that maybe, just maybe we are starting an upward trend. Still a long way to go. The championship is going to be unbelievably competitive next year.
There was a fantastic photo yesterday that John Bateman put on of him, Elliot Whitehead, the Burgess twins and Donaldson all watching from the coral stand. All Bradford academy graduates. It gives me hope that depsite all the off-field problems we've had, we are still one of the best at developing young talent. Add to those names, Jake Trueman, Cameron Scott, Luke Hooley who will all be playing SL reguarly for their respected SL clubs soon. we always have a good conveyor belt, but don't get to see the benefits because the man running the club tries taking short cuts. We've again some great prospects coming through, all we have to do is make sure our sums add up , no short cuts, continue to bring these exciting young players through, and hopefully we'll earn the right to play in SL again.

You can add Reiss Butterworth too now signed for Huddersfield.
Appreciate he’s from Crofton vasty but they’ve signed him from the Bulls.

| This is the one club that Super League really does need. Good luck to them next year.

expand?
Genuinely.....I have no interest in "the saviour club" posts without some back up.....tip of a stadium, poor management and average academy products......why do we need another suburb of leeds in SL?

| Bradford are a genuinely big club - bigger than my own in a few ways, although obviously not in anywhere near as strong a position currently. They're one of very few clubs that could sustain five figure attendances in Super League and are one of the highest profile names in the sport. I'm neither pro or anti expansion really, as if a team ends up in Super League via earning it on the pitch - as your team just have - then good luck to them. I've been to Brentford, Harlequins and Gillingham watching Wires. I'll hopefully be able to get to "the wedding venue" for our game next season after not being able to make it last year. I love an afternoon at Odsal on a nice day (though not a cold and wet one!) and want Bradford back.
