Leeds will be a different team after a week with Sinfield, but they looked very unfit yesterday, which can’t be fully addressed in 1 week. So, I’ll refrain from commenting on ‘Wakefield or Huddersfield’ yet as it will be irrelevant if Wakey win Friday.'"
Not too sure why people are labeling Sinfield as there savior, what coaching experience does he actually have? They could not even give him the "Head Coach" job title as he did not have a coaching badge to be given it, so they had to employ Lowes as a front.
Great player and great servant to the club but so was Cunningham at Saints.

Well if you listen to some Leeds fans he coached them all through his playing career
I think (hope) its a bit of a different situation to Cunningham, Sinfield was a different type of player he ran the show as a player and I personally think he will be able to translate that in his new role, but it won't be a quick fix by any means and I think he now knows that

My opinion is just the lift that having him around the place might have on the players, thats all. He is in charge of hiring/firing so they should be playing for contracts. They looked unfit though.

Leeds already have Cameron Smith

was not aware anybody was saying he is the savior, in think it has raised just as much eyebrows with Leeds fans has it as everyone else. the only thing for certain is that the jury was always out on whether Leeds won so much because of Mcdermott or inspite of him. think we have the answer now. confidence Tactics just some back to basics passing handling and defending will turn this still very talented Leeds side in to a decent side again.

I think the Wakefield game is going to be a better test of how Sinfield is planning on changing the side around, I think the Cas game was more of a case of Sinfield seeing where the team were, and they showed him!

| If Wakefield beat Leeds on Friday they are safe.
If they are safe, they may field a weakened team in the last game to give some rests before playoffs, which will hand Huddersfield the win (not that they couldn't win anyway)
That would put Leeds in a difficult situation.
Of course if Leeds win on Friday, it's all on.

Should we be looking up the table, it would surely not make sense for us to rest players against Hull and Hudds? A win against those sides in those games is just as valuable as a win in the super 8`s as all points are retained for the split.

I'm not sure why any team in the top 8 would be resting players when they have a chance of getting in the top 4. Its actually going to be a good race for that 4th spot I think

| Leeds and Wakefield both have a slight advantage in that they'll know what they need to do on Friday with Huddersfield and Catalans (oddly) both playing on Thursday this week.
If the latter two both win, it'll put Leeds in the position of having to win all three games to avoid the bottom 4. If they do, and Leeds don't win, it would put Leeds on the cusp of being in the bottom 4 irrespective of remaining games with only PD being their only salvation.
As it is, I think Catalans have the greatest chance of sneaking a win against Wire this weekend. Huddersfield seem the most likely to drop out at the moment based on that inferior PD.
